Ingredients for snail salad
Snail: 1 kg
Bacon: 300 gr
Purple onion: 2 onions, Onion: 2 onions
Lemongrass: 6 sprigs
Lettuce, basil (or mint leaves), celery: 200gr
Garlic: 2 cloves, fresh chili: 1
Spices: delicious fish sauce, vinegar (or lemon), garlic, chili sugar
How to make snail salad
Step 1: Prepare ingredients
Boil bacon in salted water for about 15 minutes and then cut into small pieces.
Snails are washed and boiled with crushed lemongrass in a saucepan of water until fully cooked. Then take it out and put it in cold water for about 2 minutes. You can skillfully remove the snail meat with a small fork or a pointed toothpick.
Carrots are washed and peeled, cut into small pieces or cut into thin slices.

Coriander leaves, basil (or mint) need your hands to remove the roots and shriveled leaves, then wash and soak in diluted salt water.
Garlic is crushed, chili is removed and chopped.

Step 2: Mix the salad dressing
Mix water with 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon sugar and let the sliced onion soak for 5 minutes, then take out and squeeze the onion to drain the water to make the onion less spicy.
The purple onion you saute will be fragrant, be sure to saute it until it comes in evenly. Or if you want the fried onions to be crispy, you can chop them up a bit and then coat them in flour and fry them over medium-high heat.
Mix the salad dressing: You mix with 5 tablespoons of fish sauce and 1 tablespoon of sugar (if you eat sweet, you can add more), 1 tablespoon of water, stir until dissolved and then bring to a boil. Then remove the pot to cool, then add 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or can be substituted with 2 tablespoons vinegar), minced garlic and chopped chili and mix well. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
Step 3: Mix the ingredients together
Prepare a clean glove to mix the salad. In a large bowl, combine the prepared ingredients such as carrots, bacon, onions, laksa leaves, basil and cilantro.
Next, slowly add the mixed salad dressing, using chopsticks or a covered hand to mix well so the ingredients are absorbed into the seasoning.
Step 4: Finished Product
