Many drivers wait “helplessly” to be moved

As noted by PV, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. there is constant traffic jams, thousands of cars queue to cross the ferry up to 3 km. Meanwhile, the motorcycle lane is also crowded with vehicles, many motorcycles have sneaked into the lane of cars to move and vice versa.

Because they were stuck for so long, many helpless drivers got off the bus to eat bread, chat and wait to be picked up. According to Uncle Nguyen Thanh Son (resident in Binh Thanh district), he said that although he was present at the Cat Lai ferry entrance at 7:30 am, he still could not cross the ferry until almost 10 am. “I’ve been waiting for more than 2 hours, I’ve been stuck for a long time, I have to get out of the car to eat bread, it’s a holiday, I have to accept it.”

Like Uncle Sohn, many motorists got out of their cars while waiting to sit and talk. Despite the traffic jam, everyone felt quite comfortable and showed no complaints.
